Cancellation Policy

At Sparkling White Cleaning Services and Sparkling White Care Services Ltd, we value both our clients and our staff. To ensure we can provide a reliable service and fairly manage staff schedules, the following cancellation policy applies to all bookings.

Regular Services

Clients may cancel or rearrange a scheduled visit by providing at least 48 hours' notice prior to the appointment time.

Where at least 48 hours' notice is provided, no cancellation fee will apply.

Late Cancellations

Any cancellation made with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged at the full cost of the scheduled visit.

This is because staff have been allocated, rotas have been prepared, and it is often not possible to fill the cancelled appointment at short notice.

No Access / No Show

If our team arrives at the property and is unable to gain access, or if the appointment cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our control, the full cost of the scheduled visit will be charged.

Examples include:

  • No one available to provide access.

  • Keys or entry arrangements not provided.

  • The client refusing access upon arrival.

  • The property being unsuitable or unsafe to enter.

Third-Party Funded Services

Where services are arranged, funded, or facilitated by a third party, including local authorities, social workers, charities, family members, deputies, or other representatives, the client remains responsible for complying with this cancellation policy unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing by Sparkling White Cleaning Services or Sparkling White Care Services Ltd.

Any cancellation charges incurred as a result of late cancellation, no access, or failure to proceed with a scheduled visit will remain payable regardless of who arranged the service.

Repeated Cancellations

Where a client repeatedly cancels appointments at short notice, we reserve the right to:

  • Require payment in advance for future bookings.

  • Require payment by Direct Debit.

  • Suspend or terminate services.

  • Refuse future bookings.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that genuine emergencies can occur. Any requests to waive cancellation charges due to exceptional circumstances will be considered at our discretion.
